In Memory of Seamus Kelly

Home / What We’ve Built / In Memory of Seamus Kelly

Last year, our donors raised enough funds to build a new home in Nicaragua for a homeless single mom and her daughter. This home was dedicated to the memory of Seamus Kelly. Seamus’ father, Michael, and his brother Grady traveled to Nicaragua and gave the key to the new home to a jubilant and very grateful Mom and her teenage daughter. Michael described the trip as “heartwarming, healing and peaceful.” Mike said “They were so grateful for everything. In their eyes it was as if God was looking back at mine.” Grady said “I was extremely thankful for the amazing week spent in Nicaragua. It was truly an eye opening experience with the most beautiful and grateful people I ever met.”

We want to thank all of our friends for making this possible. You changed the lives of two families and honored the memory of a beautiful son and brother.
